At the heart of my work is a genuine belief that people are more resilient than they often give themselves credit for — and that the right support can help you reconnect with that resilience when it feels out of reach.

I bring both clinical training and real curiosity about people to every session. That combination means you'll get care that's grounded in evidence-based approaches and actually tailored to who you are — your background, your story, your goals. Kindness and cultural sensitivity aren't add-ons for me; they're foundational to the way I work.

I know that finding a therapist can feel vulnerable, so I don't rush the process of getting to know you. Building trust takes time, and I'm committed to making sure this feels like a space where you can actually exhale.

If you'd like to learn more about the specific approaches I use, head over to my Services page — but if you're already feeling a pull to reach out, I'd love to hear from you.

Therapeutic Approach

Therapy looks a little different for everyone — and that's exactly how it should be.

We'll find a time and format that actually works for your life, and from there, we'll take things at your pace. In our sessions, I'll want to get to know you — not just what's been hard, but what matters to you, what you're hoping for, and what you already carry with you that's worth building on.

As we go, I'll offer tools and strategies that might be helpful, but you'll always have a say in what we explore and how we approach it. Nothing gets forced. This is your space, and you're in the lead.

What I can promise is that I'll show up for you consistently — as a steady, honest presence while you work through the hard stuff, rediscover what's possible, and move toward the life you're hoping to build.

My path into this work wasn't a straight line — and I think that's made me a better clinician. Before graduate school, I worked as a paralegal in the Children's Special Victims Unit in New York City. That experience left a mark on me. It's where I saw, up close, how much people are capable of enduring — and how much difference the right support can make. It's what led me to pursue my Master's in Social Work at Catholic University (non-religious) in Washington, D.C.

From there, I spent seven years working with adults navigating serious mental health challenges in crisis settings and individual therapy. That foundation taught me how to show up for people in their hardest moments — with steadiness, always without judgment.

I also have a deep interest in neuropsychology, and I find it meaningful to weave in concepts from neuroscience when they help make sense of what someone is experiencing. Understanding the why behind our patterns can be surprisingly relieving.

More than anything, I care about the people I work with — and I bring that into every session.
